Many men who wish to gain big muscles complicate matters. Muscle building is not complicated, people... so stop making it so. I'd want to discuss three reasons why guys who are attempting to grow muscle mass are failing, remaining weak, and remaining small in this essay. And, no, this is not a weightlifting piece replete with complex theories and equations. Simply put, basic sense.
Muscle size increases when the muscles are repeatedly forced to deal with increased resistance or weight. This is referred to as muscular hypertrophy. Muscular enlargement occurs when the muscle fibres are damaged or injured. The body heals damaged fibres by fusing them together, which increases the muscle mass and size.
You Are Working Out Your Mind, Not Your Body
According to Dr. Alexis Carrel, "Without pain, man cannot recreate himself. For he is the stone as well as the sculpture." This means that simply knowing how to create muscle is insufficient; you must also subject your body to the pain necessary to stimulate muscular growth. To grow muscles, you must really DO the muscle building routines.
What I see is that a large number of men are developing expertise in muscle growth. They are capable of discussing muscle fibres, exercise programme theory, and quoting scientific texts. They devote their entire lives to becoming an expert sculptor, but never pick up a hammer or chisel and attack the marble. This gets me to the following point.
The Internet Is Preventing Muscle Growth
While obtaining information on how to increase muscles, they frequent the Internet's websites, blogs, and forums. They read anything they can get their hands on, which only serves to compound their confusion. You frequent forums and engage in fruitless debates regarding the pinkie position on the bench press.
To my knowledge, surfing the web and clicking your computer's keyboard will never create muscle. I've seen men publish their routine on forums, perform it once, and then complain about how it didn't work and they need recommendations. Here is my recommendation... step away from the computer and invest some quality training time.
You're Using The Incorrect Muscle Building Program
Assume you avoid the first two errors and have chosen and implemented a muscle-building training routine... but are still not seeing the results you desire. The reason behind this is that you are most likely following the incorrect training regimen. It is truly not your fault.
As you may know, the majority of training plans are based on bodybuilding routines. Professional bodybuilding workout plans necessitate several hours in the gym each day. And, to be honest, the majority of guys I know do not have 2-3 hours to spend lifting. And, maybe more importantly, they have no desire to be bodybuilders.
The truth is that the majority of men I know desire larger, stronger, and more athletic muscle. They want muscle that not only looks good and fills out their T-shirts, but also assists them in performing at their best. Therefore, refrain from over-analyzing everything. Put down the computer and stop studying new things so you can over-analyze your workout. Additionally, you should discontinue following bodybuilder programmes that need more time than you have available in the gym. I'm confident that following these common sense recommendations will assist you in finally building big muscle.
